In 2007 I attended an introductory class by a local artist that used fine silver metal clay to create jewelry. I had an instant love affair with the newly discovered medium! I soon began sharing my knowledge through my own workshops!
My 25+ years in Human Resources and business contributes to my teaching style. I am a natural motivator and nurture my students to bring forth their individual creativity while teaching the fundamental techniques used in metal clay. I use my organizational abilities to ensure my students successfully produce pieces in metal clay.
I live in Southwest Louisiana in the heart of Cajun Country and am a member of Louisiana Craft Guild http://www.louisianacrafts.org/ as well as the Craftsmens Guild of Mississippi. I conduct group as well as private classes. My classes include general classes from beginner to advanced in my home studio as well as in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles & New Orleans, Louisiana and Long Beach, Mississippi.
Although, PMC Certification Classes were phased out in 2017, I continue to teach the advanced techniques.
